Andie + Danny {DIY North Shore Beach Wedding and Upcountry Maui Reception}

Danny and Andrea aka Andie were full of energy and awesome personalities! Their wedding reflected the couple's cool style thanks to many DIY projects, including the invitations and florals. I also was inspired by the unique venues: the cute, village-style vacation rental where everyone got ready, the north shore beach with seaweed covered rocks, and the reception took place at a family friend's house in Kula where everyone danced the night away above the clouds. This New Year's wedding was such a fun way to start 2016 and I'll never forget it!

Stay tuned for Andrea and Danny's magical Trash the Dress session...

Camila + Charley {Heartfelt Beach and Lavender Farm Maternity Session}

Maternity sessions are always fun because of the many emotions involved. There's excitement, anticipation, a little bit of anxiousness and worry, tons of questions (what will baby look like? when will baby be ready to come out? what kind of personality will baby have?), but most of all so much love - enough love to have created new life, and in this case, two new lives!

That's right, Camila and Charley are expecting TWINS, actually any day now. They have been waiting forever to become parents and will be naturals. Camila is incredibly warm and loving, and Charley is just head over heels excited for their growing ohana. We began at sunrise on the beach and then went up to the lavender farm, where the smell is amazing. It was precious to capture this special moment for a couple so dear to my heart.

Rachel + Joey {Passionate Makena Maui Honeymoon Session}

Rachel and Joey were gorgeous, adventurous, and full of passion - many of my favorite things all wrapped together. They were on their honeymoon, so they weren't afraid to be lovey dovey and didn't need much direction. In fact, they really had a blast pretending to be models for our shoot, which made it all the more fun for me too.

We spent an hour and a half around Makena on the south side of Makena, where they soaked in all the beauty this island has to offer and talked about moving here one day. I hope they do. They were so nice, it's always great to add more friends to my Maui ohana!
