Peru Destination Wedding Photographer
For the Romantic, the Wild, and the Deep Feelers

I’m Angie — an Afro-Latina photographer, artist, and storyteller based in Peru's Sacred Valley and available throughout Peru and beyond.

For over 16 years, I’ve documented celebrations in some of the most breathtaking places on earth — from the Sacred Valley to the Hawaiian islands — always guided by one intention:

To capture not just how it looked… but how it felt.

Long before photography, there was charcoal.

As a little girl in Peru, I could spend hours drawing, happiest when my hands were completely black with it. Life eventually pulled me away from art, but years later, buying my first professional camera unknowingly became my way back.

One of my first paying clients cried when she saw her photographs and told me she had never seen herself look so beautiful. I remember being stunned, because I already thought she was beautiful. That moment changed something in me. I realized photography could be more than creating beautiful images—it could help someone see the light in themselves that I could already see.

More than sixteen years later, that is still at the heart of how I photograph people.

My work is for those who feel deeply.
For couples who value beauty, connection, and experience.

You’re not just planning a photoshoot or a wedding
you’re creating a moment in your life that deserves to be remembered with meaning, artistry, and intention.

I’m here to guide you through that.

My approach blends:

  • Natural, emotive storytelling

  • A refined editorial eye

  • A deep understanding of light, movement, and energy

The result is imagery that feels timeless, elevated, and alive — never forced, never overly posed.

Just real moments, beautifully seen.

Fourteen years in Hawaiʻi shaped both my career and the way I see the world. Beyond photographing love stories, I had the privilege of documenting the people and communities that make the islands what they are—including my work with Feeding Hawaiʻi, where I photographed farmers and food producers across the islands during the pandemic, preserving stories of resilience, connection to the land, and the people working to feed their communities. Today, back home in Peru, I find myself turning that same curiosity toward my own roots—rediscovering my culture, its people and traditions through the same camera that has taken me around the world.

I crave for you a love story so deep that the ocean will be jelous.

Outside of photography, I’m a mother, a nature lover, and a woman deeply inspired by life.

You’ll usually find me: in the garden or surrounded by plants. Near the ocean or somewhere in the mountains. Cooking, dancing, or dreaming up my next creative idea

I’m happiest when I’m creating, connecting, and fully present.

And that’s exactly the energy I bring into every experience I photograph.

My work has been featured in internationally recognized publications including:

Brides, The Knot, Style Me Pretty, Ruffled, Wedding Chicks, and more.

I’ve had the honor of working with couples from all over the world — from intimate elopements to destination celebrations — each one unique, each one deeply meaningful.

Working with me is more than photography.

It’s a guided, intentional experience designed to make you feel: comfortable, confident, fully present. So you can actually live your moment — while I preserve it.

If you feel connected to my work,
I would be honored to tell your story.

I take on a limited number of clients each year to ensure every experience is personal and elevated.

I have a lot of friends who had a lot of good things to say about their photographers but I literally want to be Angie’s best friend! I wish I could just hire her to follow me around and take our pictures of my life and keep me entertained! Anyone reading this has most likely seen her pictures and already knows that every one of her pictures is exquisite and magazine worthy. What you need to know beyond the fact that you will absolutely 100% love your pictures is that Angie herself is so fun to be around! She’s hilarious and disarming which helped my husband relax and actually enjoy himself, she’s energetic and acts like a dream wedding guest! The friends of ours that actually made it out to Maui for our destination wedding are already asking for her information for their upcoming weddings (some are not even engaged yet!). I could go on all day about this amazing and talented woman, if your thinking of hiring Angie and like me pictures are the most important part of you day besides actually getting married then look no further!

Angie Diaz is an incredibly professional and talented photographer! Pick her! She’s the best. Her pictures are absolutely fine and capture all of your precious moments that pass by so fast, but she will make them last. Besides her very good feeling for timing, framing, lights, colors and editing, she simply makes you smile! At first you will smile when you meet this terrific person that is so full of life and so much fun to work with. Second you will smile when she keeps you naturally in front of her lens. Third you will smile when you see the beauty in your wedding pictures she took and anytime you’ll be remembering your wedding day you’ll be smiling thinking of those amazing photographs... Angie, I’m so glad you were part of our wedding. Thank you for giving us so very lovely memories!

Where do I begin? Like every bride to be, I started doing research right after getting engaged and started following every wedding related account on Instagram. I stumbled across an image that was so breathtaking, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. If you’re reading this review, I’m sure you’ve seen variations of it. After seeing the cliff shot, I knew we had to book Angie as our photographer. She was the reason we decided to elope in Maui. In a leap of faith, we booked Angie a year and half in advance and started planning an elaborate wedding for two without ever having been to Maui or meeting any of our vendors in person until the week of our wedding.

Angie was a dream to work with. We had two days with Angie and she made us feel so comfortable and relaxed the entire time! The energy she exudes makes the shoot fun...you forget that you’re even taking pictures and can just enjoy being happy and in the moment. My husband even commented on how much he liked Angie and that she was the right decision. I am so happy with Angie’s work. Angie captured beautiful memories and we will forever have these magical moments to remember and look at.
