Maternity

Camila + Charley {Heartfelt Beach and Lavender Farm Maternity Session}

Maternity sessions are always fun because of the many emotions involved. There's excitement, anticipation, a little bit of anxiousness and worry, tons of questions (what will baby look like? when will baby be ready to come out? what kind of personality will baby have?), but most of all so much love - enough love to have created new life, and in this case, two new lives!

That's right, Camila and Charley are expecting TWINS, actually any day now. They have been waiting forever to become parents and will be naturals. Camila is incredibly warm and loving, and Charley is just head over heels excited for their growing ohana. We began at sunrise on the beach and then went up to the lavender farm, where the smell is amazing. It was precious to capture this special moment for a couple so dear to my heart.

I am so grateful to have been able to document the beautiful maternity of one of my closest and most precious friends! Lindsey and Andre are my best buddies and I definitely wanted to capture something that portrait their very down to earth yet elevated sense style. They chose their own home for the setting, because they wanted it to feel intimate and comfortable; closely following their natural and free lifestyles. Their picturesque Haiku home made for some beautiful photos. It also didn't hurt that she is a professional model. The early breakfast theme was perfect for this simple but stylish setting, and is the perfect time for them to cuddle up before they start their day. I can not wait to meet baby Rex!

Sweet Baby Bliss {Maui Love and Maternity Photographer}

It's no secret that I absolutely love shooting maternity sessions. All the glowy happiness is contagious! Jill and Brian were especially cute and full of giggles. They asked for photos that showcased the love between them and how much fun they have together, and of course, wanted to enjoy the gorgeous Hawaiian scenery.

We had to reschedule the first time because it was rainy and overcast. (I always want my mommas to be comfortable and don't mind rescheduling if the weather is not cooperating, so if you're planning a babymoon, try to schedule your photo session towards the beginning of your vacation, just in case.) I'm so glad the sun came out the second time and I was able to witness their overflowing joy. They waited a long time for this sweet baby and are going to make wonderful parents!
