Carissa + Devon {Majestic Santa Barbara Courthouse Wedding}

Santa Barbara courthouse wedding california bride and groom loving on each other photographer

Carissa and Devon originally planned on having a small beach wedding on Maui and were drawn to my wedding photography on the cliffs at Ironwoods beach. After many emails we clicked to perfection and were all set for an April wedding, but when they found out that some family members from their already-intimate guest list wouldn't be able to make it, plans had to change.

Carissa asked if I would consider traveling to Santa Barbara for their courthouse wedding and As soon as I saw the stunning historical surroundings of the venue, I didn't think twice about it and was so excited. The venue was even more than I imagined when I saw it in person. I fell in love with the Spanish-Moorish architecture and had an amazing experience exploring and capturing details that are so different than anything you'll find in Hawaii. Even better than the details, Carissa and Devon were extremely sweet and in total love. Devon is a romantic and puts effort into making his bride laugh and feel beautifulwith every breath she takes, not lying! I tease Carissa t encourage him to write a book on how to love a woman hahaha. This definitely made capturing their epic fairytale that much easier.
