Rebecca's Bright + Beachy Maternity Session

Since the first email Rebecca's had such a sweet and cute personality witch i took as inspiration for these photos. These charming couple were extremely welcoming and bubbly to me and witch made for absolutely relaxed and gente maternity session! We chose Kanaha beach for our setting because of the striking colors and shallow water. I loved the way Rebecca's simple yet stylish wardrobe matched the setting so perfectly. I added up some minimal flowers arrangements for her hair upon her request that put the cherry on top. So excited to share the beautiful beginning of the journey that is motherhood is.

Karen + Kenny {Magically Intimate Upcountry Maui Wedding}

Karen and Kenny and very dear friends of mine, so this wedding is close to my heart. Since the moment we met and Karen saw my work, she told me the day she gets married, she wanted me to capture her happy ending. A couple of years passed by, and now they are about to leave for Portland after a long life here on Maui. They wanted to get hitched to have this lasting memory to treasure forever, so they called me and my heart was so full of joy for these two!

An amazing backyard wedding celebration was planned, and before the ceremony, we stopped by some meaningful places for them. Karen’s dad worked for many decades in the sugar company so she definitely wanted to have that as part of her pictures to honor her dad. Kenny and Karen often take walks on the beach with their beloved dog Seven, who is such a charm, so the beach had to be included also.

They say less is more, and it overwhelmed my heart how minimal yet so beautiful this ceremony was, they made each lei to perfection with natural elements from their ohana and it was just the perfect touch of magic for upcountry Maui. Kenny built the bench for their family to sit and be surrounded by the mystic mist and fog and the gorgeous view. I am so happy for them and couldn’t believe how precious the moment was for the intimate celebration.

Rachel + Dylan {Anniversary at Olinda Forest}

I’m honored to spend time with my clients during some of the happiest times of their lives - celebrating a proposal, marriage, a baby, honeymoon, or vacation. Since they are often visiting, we sometimes keep in contact through social media or emails, but it’s rare I get a chance to see them again in person. Whenever the opportunity comes up to connect with past clients, it’s always special and soooo fun!

I was fortunate to capture locals Rachel and Dylan while they were engaged, on their wedding day, and now for their 3 year anniversary. Wow how time flies! We went up to Olinda Forest again, where they got all dressed up in their wedding attire and we even recreated one of the shots from that first engagement session. It warmed my heart to see that these cuties are just as silly and in love as ever.
