Ashley + Jason {Romantic Hotel Wailea Wedding}

Ashley + Jason {Romantic Hotel Wailea Wedding}

Ashley and Jason had a gorgeous wedding at Hotel Wailea, and their pictures reflect a little bit of everything - outdoors with greenery and beach settings and indoors among candlelight and chandeliers. Ashley and Jason were super sweet and so stinking cute! The whole wedding party was stoked and you could feel everyone’s excitement. After the ceremony, we went to Po’olenalena Beach, where we were able to fulfill Ashley’s dream of having her veil flowing in the wind with the ocean and lava rocks in the background. Such a perfect day for a deserving couple that I was so lucky to be part of!

Beautiful Feminine Maui Beach Maternity Session

Beautiful Feminine Maui Beach Maternity Session

Let’s be honest: pregnancy is hard and you don’t always feel like a glowy, happy pregnant lady, quite the opposite sometimes. But, it is a miracle. A miracle I believe should be celebrated and documented.

If there was ever a time to bring out your girly side, this is it, which is why I loved Tru’s pink, curve-hugging dress and fun accessories and her willingness to bare her lovely baby bump. Aimee + Glynn {Gorgeous and Whimsical Maui elopement in Ironwoods Beach Kapalua}

Glynn and Aimee are the sweetest couple with a rollercoaster of a wedding planning story. They originally had wedding plans for about 100 guests in Texas but that got overwhelming and expensive really fast, so an intimate wedding in Maui was decided on.

That’s when Aimee and I first started talking. She is such a warm, friendly person that we talked not only about wedding plans but about life in general and got close. A few months before their destination wedding, they flew out to Maui to look at venues and meet vendors in person… and ended up having an elopement, planned in just a few hours, right before that had to get back on the plane to leave!

They returned to Texas and surprised their daughters with the happy news. They came back to Maui for what was supposedly to be their wedding date, and we had lots of fun documenting the day. From getting ready to the first look, family photos, and of course romantic shots, it was a little bit of everything. Aimee and Glynn even asked if my son Miloh could be the ring bearer!

The great thing about the wedding being done is that everyone was so relaxed and there was only pure love, joy, and laughter that day. Aimee and I still talk regularly and she is hands down my biggest fan on Facebook. So happy for this beautiful family, honored that I got to be part of this special day, and grateful for our continued friendship
