Rachel and Dylan are sure to have the most wonderful marriage since their engagement was full of the most genuine laughs and silliness. These two are both amazing youth pastors who teach little ones about God. They have hearts of gold and really put the Lord first, which is so refreshing to see. We used Scrabble letters as a fun way to describe their relationship.

For their engagement session, we ventured Upcountry, starting in Makawao Town and then heading to Olinda Forest for some gorgeous nature shots. 

Veronika + Scott {Spontaneous Elopement on Maui's Westside}

Maui is such a magical place. I'm grateful every day that I get to live here and love seeing people experience the island beauty with fresh eyes. When high school sweethearts Scott and Veronika visited Maui from their native Canada, they decided it was the perfect time and place to make it official and become husband and wife! 

I was thrilled to put together some floral touches, but they were such a gorgeous couple, exuding love and so relaxed in front of the camera, that the simplicity really suited them. We started off at Ironwoods Beach and then ventured to West Maui Forest Reserve aka Honolua Bay Forest. The lighting was perfect and the whole day was a reminder to live in the moment!

It's no secret that I absolutely love shooting maternity sessions. All the glowy happiness is contagious! Jill and Brian were especially cute and full of giggles. They asked for photos that showcased the love between them and how much fun they have together, and of course, wanted to enjoy the gorgeous Hawaiian scenery.

We had to reschedule the first time because it was rainy and overcast. (I always want my mommas to be comfortable and don't mind rescheduling if the weather is not cooperating, so if you're planning a babymoon, try to schedule your photo session towards the beginning of your vacation, just in case.) I'm so glad the sun came out the second time and I was able to witness their overflowing joy. They waited a long time for this sweet baby and are going to make wonderful parents!
