About us. Miloh & I

This is a very personal post. It's about Miloh, my little tiny man, and his momma, the photographer. In case you didn't know, I'm from Peru but I'm beyond blessed to have found Maui and made it my home. This post is about who I am behind camera, the wonderful times I spend with my little one, and how to embrace the best things in life and just enjoy the little things, always pursue your dreams no matter when and where but just love them and chase them, because life is what dreams are made of, and I'm thankful to God for allowing me to have these amazing gifts: The incredible fulfillment of being Miloh's mom and to capture the best moments in people's lives. This a day in our lives.

Ps: I must confess these photographs are our belated birthday present and first ever photoshoot so I think as first-timers we are allowed to be silly. I think we deserve it! Have FUN! Angie

Shenshen + Marshall {Oahu Wedding at Lanikuhonoa}

Shenshen + Marshall {Oahu Wedding at Lanikuhonoa}

I'm always in the mood to fly away for love stories! I was over the moon to land on Oahu for the destination wedding of Shenshen and Marshall, who actually planned the wedding from Hong Kong (where the bride lives) and Taiwan (where the groom lives)! They describe themselves as a fun, lighthearted couple and wanted a wedding that would reflect their personalities, instead of something super elegant or over-the-top. The pig and the sheep was incorporated in really cute ways throughout the decor because those animals represent the years that they were born.

They treated me like family from the time I arrived. I've gotta say, I never heard such hilarious wedding speeches before. It was nice to know that the group was really playful since it definitely guided me to make sure I got photos that would show their true selves.

Aimee + Tyler {Romantic Maui Proposal at Baldwin Beach}

When Tyler asked me to capture his proposal to Aimee, I was so excited because how often do you get to be part of such a surprise life-changing moment?! The plan was to have him propose before they started on the infamous Road to Hana, so we decided to meet at Baldwin Beach, where I would set up a romantic scene and then hide in the bushes and snap away.

"WILL YOU MARRY ME?" was written in the sand and lavender orchids were requested. The sweet reason for this was because Aimee's grandfather used to grow orchids on Oahu and lavender is her favorite color, so it definitely had a beyond words sentimental value for her. I had to add some yummy tropical fruit for them to feed each other. Yes, best proposal ever!

Once Aimee said yes, I came out of hiding and was able to see the gorgeous engagement ring. It sprinkled a little and a rainbow came out to celebrate the occasion. So honored to have met this beautiful couple and be part of their love story!
