They say it's good luck to rain on your wedding day, but let's be honest, it doesn't feel very lucky when it happens. Despite the weather and having to move everything inside, Nasya and Albert were just the sweetest. (Seriously, I am the lucky one to blessed with the best amazing go-with-the-flow couples!) So happy to be getting married, nothing could bring them down and we snuck out in the showers to get some romantic oceanside shots, where the clouds brought gorgeous sunset colors.

This intimate Maui beach wedding was so full of love, an amazing family affair that took place in Kapalua at the shores of Napili Bay. Summerly and Stephen were such a sweet and charming couple and the kids were all very excited in a very contagious way that touched my heart, so precious. All the ladies looked beautiful in the oh so dreamy pastel dresses from the wedding collection of the always stylish Chic brand Show Me your MuMu and the colorful flowers were a perfect expression of the oh-so-happy day! for this Hawaii destination wedding.

Taylor + Zach {Dazzling Maui Wedding at Ironwoods Beach}

Just like it is with love, capturing the best images means being in the right place at the right time. To me, my best work happens when the couple is in love and the sun is high up in the sky. 

Taylor especially loved my shoots when the water looked crystal clear and bright blue, so we planned an afternoon ceremony with time to climb the rocks and freedom to be adventurous. For this wedding, all the conditions were perfect. The shining sun matched the sparkle of love Zach and Taylor have for each other, and the ocean looked just as Taylor had hoped. 

For anyone wondering whether Maui really does look this stunning, it really does when you plan for an earlier session and luck out with amazing weather. No wonder it's consistently voted one of the best islands in the world and continues to captivate me!
