Kel and Al came from California to get Maui’d and they asked me to come after the wedding to capture their first moments as newlyweds. They told me they were nervous for their so long waited Maui wedding photos. Al was especially worried he wasn’t going to look good because he wasn’t used to being in pictures. This is probably one of the most common concerns I hear, especially from grooms, but as this session shows, you really have nothing to worry about! As long as you’re happy and with the one you love, those feelings come out. I couldn’t even tell Kel and Al were nervous in front of the camera. They were so over the moon and in love, their inner models really shined through.

Ashley and Jason had a gorgeous wedding at Hotel Wailea, and their pictures reflect a little bit of everything - outdoors with greenery and beach settings and indoors among candlelight and chandeliers. Ashley and Jason were super sweet and so stinking cute! The whole wedding party was stoked and you could feel everyone’s excitement. After the ceremony, we went to Po’olenalena Beach, where we were able to fulfill Ashley’s dream of having her veil flowing in the wind with the ocean and lava rocks in the background. Such a perfect day for a deserving couple that I was so lucky to be part of!
