Nina + Tom {Boho Picnic Maui Beach Elopement}

Who says an elopement has to be basic and simple? Nina and Tom flew all the way from Switzerland to tie the knot on Maui in an awesomely detailed beach elopement coordinated by Couture Events. I loved how much personality the driftwood tee-pee, the tropical picnic, and even the smudge sticks added to the event. The bride, a talented stationery designer, made an adorable personalized card announcing their elopement. These two were so sweet and blissfully carefree, they made it easy for me to capture their feelings on this oh-so-special day.

Jenny + Michael { Amazing romantic elopement on top of Haleakala Crater Maui, Hawaii }

When Fashion LA blogger and 'Amazing Race' winner Jenny contacted me for this surprise last minute Haleakala elopement, I was hooked immediately. Not only does she have quite an amazing sense of style but to my huge surprise, I discovered she's such an accomplished and dedicated woman that she won second place in one of my fav shows The Amazing Race! (If you know me. anything that requires working out is out of the question -Please help me! XD) When I first met them in not-so-cool-as-usual Kula, I was so impressed with the elegance and mega dapper looks of this sophisticated couple, such old Hollywood Glam style. Keeping it simple yet chic, we embraced the intimacy of our surroundings and with little if any direction, just let the love control the moment. They were so loving and tears came to my eyes and actually everybody when they recited their vows so enthusiastically in the most charming and truthful way, surrounded by the desert lava rock and clouds. And the stunning view that yet kept getting better by the minute when the sun started to set, such a majestic reality to be present and have the most striking wedding pictures for years to come.
