There’s no surprise I love to travel out of Maui to the most remote places for amazing love stories, and this amazing stylish California couple's Big island DIY destination wedding was no exception. Kelli took care of every single little detail so perfectly and crafted everything from start to finish herself! When she first approached me, she warned me the road to the venue was gonna be rough. I got a Jeep to get ready to rock the best of it and to overcome any possible challenge in breathtaking Hawaii, and she wasn’t mistaken at all indeed. It was the most extreme driving I have ever had to do in my life. I was literally driving over Lava rock, and thought for a minute the road was never gonna end since the place was so secluded, silly me! When arriving to the venue, it was so spectacular and beautiful I could hardly believe my eyes, but really Hawaii never ceases to amaze me. I’m so blessed I was chosen to capture this gorgeous celebration of love with family and friends. Thank you Jay and Kelli! You guys were so warm and beautiful inside-out, the whole day was a reflection of how glorious your hearts are, and I will always treasure this adventure with you in my heart.

Emily + Andrew {Rustic Boho Chic Wedding at Tradewinds Ranch}

This next wedding was so amazing that it will stick with me forever. It's such a pleasure for me to hop on the plane to breathtaking Oahu's north shore to capture all the beauty of this Ranch chic wedding. From Emily’s gorgeous lace crop top wedding ensemble to the selection of handmade favors and the furniture that was flown in from the mainland, I just couldn’t get enough of all the fun details and the texture that surrounded me. It was an overload of eye candy for my lenses!

But beyond the details, what I will remember most is the genuine kindness shown to me by the couple and their family. I first met Emily and Andrew when I came to my neighbor island a couple of months in advance to do their engagement shoot, and from the beginning, they were so warm and sweet. During the excitement of wedding day, each and every single person and even the little ones truly made me feel like part of their ohana.

I am so grateful to have been able to document the beautiful maternity of one of my closest and most precious friends! Lindsey and Andre are my best buddies and I definitely wanted to capture something that portrait their very down to earth yet elevated sense style. They chose their own home for the setting, because they wanted it to feel intimate and comfortable; closely following their natural and free lifestyles. Their picturesque Haiku home made for some beautiful photos. It also didn't hurt that she is a professional model. The early breakfast theme was perfect for this simple but stylish setting, and is the perfect time for them to cuddle up before they start their day. I can not wait to meet baby Rex!
