Its always so inspiring for me to meet a couple who are very in love with my work as crazy in love with each other. Since the very first email, Pascal told me they wanted to book me without hesitation for their destination wedding  that they were planning all the way from Switzerland, I was just so over the moon, it was 'The perfect match'!.  Since the first moment it was amazing when I arrived at their hotel, they graciously gave me total control of the artistic side of the epic love affair, they made my job so easy because these two little birds were just so sweet to capture. 

Since we left the hotel we were a little nervous about having to play hide and seek with the coming rain but we just went ahead and stick to our epic plan, and always leave every single place just in time before start raining. First, we went to the amazing Halona Cove beach Park. Shpresa and Pascal are such an adventurous couple! They love to hike, so the portraits are a representation of their lifestyle and they were so beyond cute!

Next we left for Waimanalo Beach, where there was a beautiful set up waiting for their intimate ceremony, surrounded by loving friends who had flown from Switzerland. They were so awesome and sweet. We are now friends, and that is the cherry on top.

Emily + Andrew {Rustic Boho Chic Wedding at Tradewinds Ranch}

This next wedding was so amazing that it will stick with me forever. It's such a pleasure for me to hop on the plane to breathtaking Oahu's north shore to capture all the beauty of this Ranch chic wedding. From Emily’s gorgeous lace crop top wedding ensemble to the selection of handmade favors and the furniture that was flown in from the mainland, I just couldn’t get enough of all the fun details and the texture that surrounded me. It was an overload of eye candy for my lenses!

But beyond the details, what I will remember most is the genuine kindness shown to me by the couple and their family. I first met Emily and Andrew when I came to my neighbor island a couple of months in advance to do their engagement shoot, and from the beginning, they were so warm and sweet. During the excitement of wedding day, each and every single person and even the little ones truly made me feel like part of their ohana.

You are truly an ARTIST and oh-so-talented and inspiring, you super mom you! We would love to work with you again when the baby time comes! XD We will recommend you to anyone we hear that is needing wedding/engagement/lifestyle photos done, you do such amazing work. We are truly blown away. And so easy and FUN to work with! I actually got teary over a few this morning wink emoticon. Thank you for being such a huge part of our special day, it was so so nice to have you be a part of it'

Yuyeon + Jeff { Modern Honolulu Chic Hotel Room Elopement }

Yuyeon and Jeff were a fabulous couple to photograph! The pair was so humble and kind to me on their special day, it was a joy to spend time with them. Everyone at the elopement was so enthusiastic, it made me feel giddy to be documenting it! I was inspired by their unique venue and the way they were able to turn a hotel room into a lively and beach-themed wedding wonderland! They told me that at first they were doubtful that they could create a welcoming venue from a hotel room, but they sure succeeded! 

The elopement was very intimate, and only their closest friends and family came. Jeff said that this made it more comfortable for such a tender moment, and made the bond feel more meaningful. Yuyeon's son made the festivities a bit more extra cute with his ukulele charm.
