Lisa + Matt {Day After Wedding Hawaii Love Session at Ko Olina Beach, Oahu}

There's something magical that happens when a couple lets you into their world. I feel a bit like a spy who is being shown a very special secret, witnessing the emotion on their faces and the way they share their own love language. This magic happens most frequently when the couple is relaxed without a care in the world except enjoying each other's company, and Day After sessions are filled with these amazing moments.

Of course, don't get me wrong, the wedding day is spectacular in its own extraordinary way, but there is usually so much going on with tons of details and memories to document. We also have to be aware of a timeline and I would always want more alone time with just the couple.

I met up with Lisa and Matt after their Oahu wedding for more adventuring and I'm so thankful we did! Their beautiful love dazzled. Plus Lisa was able to have another gorgeous look. My hope for Lisa and Matt (and all my couples) is that wherever life's journey takes them, they will be able to look back at their photos of the fresh start of their marriage and be reminded of all the fluttery feelings and the reasons for their everlasting commitment.

Jannae + Garrett {Chic Maui wedding at amazing Ironwoods beach Kapalua }

After getting to see their awesome everyday style during their engagement session (if you haven't already seen it, look here first!), I was so excited to find out what everyone was going to wear to Jannae and Garrett's wedding. I wasn't disappointed. Garrett was effortlessly cool in his suspenders and bow tie. The pattern of Jannae's dress reminded me of a mermaid and photographed so beautifully, especially in black and white. All the little simple details were the perfect match to perfection.

The day was lovely and the ocean had some huge waves the biggest I ever seen in Ironwoods it was just so breathtaking to watch them during ceremony with such spectacular backdrop .

Kayla + Evan {Endearing Makawao Forest Engagement Session}

Kayla confessed that she is camera shy and because of that, she and Evan don't have many pictures after all their years together, so we did some engagement photos before their wedding later this year. When people tell me they are not used to the camera, I tone down the poses, back away, and let their true love shine through. Being up in the Makawao Forest Reserve amidst the fresh air and peaceful scenery, these two lovebirds were so sweet. I was honored to be the one to bring them out of their shells and can't wait to capture their big day!
